  • Growth disorders of the nails, they are deformed, brittle and often show longitudinal furrows
  • Frequent and recurring nail bed inflammation

Silicea (silicic acid)

  • Nails are soft, split and deformed
  • Frequently a white spotting appears
  • Fungal infestation returns again and again
  • Occurring nail suppurations heal very badly
