The skin is hot, red, painful. Appropriate remedies are:
- Aconitum (blue wolfsbane)
- Aconitum
- Belladonna (Belladonna)
Bryonia (bryony)
Prescription only up to and including D3! Typical dosage of aconitum (aconite) for dermatitis: Tablets D6
- Aconitum is generally considered to be the first remedy for sudden onset of inflammation
- The skin is hot, red spotted, there is burning pain in the affected areas
- Heat worsens the symptoms
- Generally great restlessness.
Belladonna (Belladonna)
Prescription only up to and including D3! Typical dosage of belladonna (deadly nightshade) for dermatitis: Tablets D6
- Follows as a second treatment after aconitum if the inflammation is already advanced
- The skin is sweaty, smooth and strongly reddened
- The pain is increasingly felt as throbbing
- Cold and draughts are poorly tolerated
- Excitement and strong emotions aggravate
