Cortisone cortisone: anticoagulant:
- With simultaneous Kortisongabe the bleeding risk in the gastro-intestinal tract rises substantially
- Diclofenac (e.g. Voltaren) should not be given at the same time as anticoagulants or preparations of the same class of active substances (IbuprofenIndometacinPiroxicam). Particularly when Marcumar is administered at the same time, the blood-thinning effect of Marcumar should be taken into account.
Contraindications
Contraindications for diclofenac (e.g. Voltaren®) are In the first two thirds of pregnancy diclofenac is considered safe and may be used. From the 28th week of pregnancy onwards, one should refrain from using diclofenac and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and instead resort to paracetamol.
- An existing stomach or intestinal ulcer
- Several stomach or intestinal ulcers in the medical history
- Bronchial asthma
- Known liver or kidney diseases
- A pregnancy from the 28th week of pregnancy
