Low Blood Pressure (Hypotension): Symptoms, Complaints, Signs

The following symptoms and complaints may indicate hypotension (low blood pressure):

  • Dizziness
  • Blackening before the eyes
  • Drop in blood pressure when standing up
  • Tendency to collapse
  • Fatigue, exhaustion
  • Headache
  • Paleness
  • Ringing in the ears
  • Cold hands and feet
  • Palpitations or stitches in the heart area
  • Hyperhidrosis – increased sweating.
  • Tendency to hypoglycemia – drop in blood sugar.
  • Syncope (short-term unconsciousness) possible
