Schüssler salt No. 17: Manganum sulfuricum

Fields of application

Manganese sulfuricum can be used to relieve or prevent a number of diseases and conditions. These include, for example, increased susceptibility to infections, eczema or psoriasis and allergic reactions of the body of all kinds. When used regularly, it can also help to prevent the formation of arteriosclerosis.

This salt can also be used to support the treatment of hepatitis (inflammation of the liver), diabetes mellitus, gout, osteoporosis or rheumatoid diseases (such as rheumatoid arthritis). This salt can also be used for psychological problems such as depressive moods or severe mood swings. The wide range of applications is explained by the fact that Manganum sulfuricum acts on connective tissue structures that are found throughout the body.

In addition, this salt also has an effect on blood formation and can be used in the case of anemia (supportive), usually in combination with salts No. 3 and No. 8.

Manganum sulfuricum for mental symptoms

People with certain character traits naturally consume a larger amount of a certain salt than others, that is the teaching of Dr. Schüssler. Even if a simple “replenishment” of the respective salt supply cannot simply make these character traits disappear or compensate for them, a gift of the appropriate salt can nevertheless support the targeted work on one’s own character. If you suspect an increased consumption of Manganum sulfuricum in your own body, you can, for example, pay attention to whether you are inclined to a certain overexertion or overwork, and accept stressful situations without regard to your own loss of strength, or even consciously expose yourself to such situations.

Typically (but not necessarily! ), patients do a lot of sport on a regular basis and are prone to allergic reactions. Often such persons also show a change between depressive mood and energetic excitement, while it is difficult for them not to take things too seriously. Accordingly, psychological symptoms of a deficiency of Manganum sulfuricum are also listlessness, recurrent depressive episodes, memory, concentration or learning disorders, especially as a result of stress and overwork.
