Further notes
- In an open-label single-center study, 15 women were treated with a hyaluronic acid filler (injection of 20 mg/ml hyaluronic acid and 3 mg/ml lidocaine). The formulation was injected under the metatarsal heads in a single session. As a result, women reported less or no pain when wearing High Hills; shoes could be worn longer overall. Limitations: small patient numbers and no control group.
