Methyl nicotinate (C7H7NO2, Mr = 137.14 g/mol) is a methyl ester of nicotinic acid.

Effects

Methyl nicotinate has hyperemicifying properties.

Indications

In combination:

  • Rheumatic complaints, soft tissue rheumatism.
  • Painful, inflammatory, degenerative diseases of the musculoskeletal system, muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints, spine or intervertebral discs.
  • Muscle tension, movement pain, lumbago, stiff neck, sciatica.
