Risks
The following risks exist during hair transplantation: After the hair transplantation can occur:
- Bleeding, which is usually only light and can be quickly stopped
- Injuries to nerves and blood vessels which, in the worst case, can lead to numbness or sensations
- Bruises and secondary bleeding
- Crust and scarring in the treated areas
- Infections that can cause the transplanted hair to die
- Pain
- Slight hair loss in the areas where hair was removed
Prospects of success
The chances of success are 50 – 80%. However, it may be possible to improve the result by repeated treatments.
