Definition

Salmon oil is a purified fatty oil obtained from fresh farmed animals of the species (PhEur). The PhEur requires a defined content of omega-3 fatty acids. Salmon oil is also commercially available from wild animals.

Ingredients

Omega-3 fatty acids: DHA and EPA, vitamin E.

Indications for use

Salmon oil is taken as a food supplement as a source of omega-3 fatty acids.
