Summary

Osgood Schlatter’s disease is a disease of the knee joint that occurs in children and adolescents and usually heals by the end of growth. The therapy consists of rest and sometimes also drug therapy. Bandages and tape bandages can support the healing process.

Homeopathic preparations can also help. In physiotherapy, the muscles of the knee joint are strengthened and stretched to prevent chronic muscle tension in the shin bone.
