Products
The ointment of three is prepared in pharmacies and possibly in drugstores. Specialty retailers may also have the ointment prepared by specialized service providers. Similar products are also available as ready-to-use medicines.
Composition and preparation

| B | Glycerol 85% | 3.0 g |
| C | White petroleum jelly | ad 100.0 g |
Rub the finely sieved salicylic acid with the glycerol and add the petroleum jelly in portions. For a large batch:
- Rub the salicylic acid together with the glycerol in a bowl.
- Melt the petroleum jelly and add in portions.
- Homogenize the resulting mass, stir cold, leave overnight and stir the next morning.
Effects
Dreiersalbe is a keratolytic, keratoplastic, antimicrobial and antifungal salicylaseline for application to the skin.
Indications for use
For softening and dissolving skin and calluses for example in horny eczema, psoriasis, calluses and calluses.
Dosage
The ointment is applied 1-2 times a day in a fine layer.
Contraindications
Three ointment is contraindicated in case of hypersensitivity. It should not be used on children, during pregnancy and not on sensitive skin. Do not apply in the area of the eyes and mucous membranes. For complete precautions, see the drug label.
Adverse effects
Possible adverse effects include skin redness, burning sensation, and hypersensitivity reactions.
