Urethral Stricture: Test and Diagnosis

Laboratory parameters of the 1st order – obligatory laboratory tests.

  • Urine status (rapid test for: pH, leukocytes, nitrite, protein, blood), sediment, urine culture if necessary (pathogen detection and resistogram, i.e. testing of suitable antibiotics for sensitivity/resistance).

Laboratory parameters 2nd order – depending on the results of the history, physical examination and the obligatory laboratory parameters – for differential diagnostic clarification.

  • Inflammatory parameters – CRP (C-reactive protein).
  • Renal parameters – creatinine, urea.
