General information
The eye area is very sensitive and the skin in this area is only a third as thick as in other areas of the skin, which makes it less resistant to external and internal influences. A sleepless night can therefore be quickly seen in the eyes of those affected, especially when the power of regeneration decreases with age. In the region around our eyes, there is neither pronounced connective tissue nor subcutaneous tissue under the epidermis, and the veins running under the eyes therefore appear particularly quickly through the thin skin. The main factors for temporary bags under the eyes are too little sleep (sleep disorders), too little drinking and too salty food. If, on the other hand, the bags under the eyes are permanent, this is a sign of old age, as the muscles and connective tissue in the area around the eyes also slacken with age.
Lachrymal sacs in men
Since men are also humans, one or the other age-related wear and tear also occurs with them in the course of the years. The skin becomes thinner, more susceptible and wrinkled. The eye area is not spared from these processes either.
Since the skin around the eyes is by nature already thinner and more sensitive and thus more susceptible to imbalances in the body and stress, age often makes itself felt here first. The dark circles around the eyes in the morning appear more quickly and disappear more slowly and bags under the eyes become larger and more disturbing. On the one hand, this is due to a natural slackening of the connective tissue in old age, which leads to an increased storage of fat and water.
But also bad living habits such as too little sleep, too much stress, too salty food with too little fluid intake have a negative effect on the eye area. But this is exactly where you can also start if you want to counteract the bags under the eyes. Often the well-tried household remedies are already quite effective and sufficient to give the face a younger and rested appearance.
Increasingly, however, men in particular are turning to plastic surgeons, who promise quick and effective relief with the help of syringes and scalpels. How to deal with the normal signs of aging in the eye area must be left up to the individual. It is worth mentioning, however, that age cannot be stopped and every major operation has risky side effects and consequences. Since the bags under the eyes are exclusively a cosmetic and not a medical problem, one should decide with caution.
