Laboratory parameters of the 1st order – obligatory laboratory tests.
- Urethral smear (urethral swab) for pathogens:
- Bacteria
- Sprout fungi
- Trichomonads
- If necessary, Mycoplasma, Ureaplasma urealyticum and Chlamydia trachomatis and Neisseria gonorrhoeae; if necessary, Chlamydia trachomatis DNA detection (Chlamydia trochmatis-PCR) or Neisseria gonorrhoeae DNA detection (Go-PCR, gonococcal PCR).
- Phase contrast examination of cervical secretions (for shoot fungi and trichomonads/Trichomonas vaginalis).
- Urine examination by means of test strips, urine sediment, urine culture,
Laboratory parameters 2nd order – depending on the results of the history, physical examination and mandatory laboratory parameters – for differential diagnostic clarification.
- Small blood count
- Inflammatory parameters – CRP (C-reactive protein).
