Obligatory medical device diagnostics.

  • Abdominal ultrasonography (ultrasound of abdominal organs).

Optional medical device diagnostics – depending on the results of the history, physical examination, laboratory diagnostics and obligatory medical device diagnostics – for differential diagnostic clarification.

  • X-ray of the abdomen (abdominal empty image).
  • Computed tomography of the abdomen (abdominal CT) – for further diagnosis.
  • Gastroscopy (gastroscopy)
  • Colonoscopy (colonoscopy)
  • Paracentesis (draining fluid from the abdominal cavity) – to relieve ascites.
