Usual dosage
Usual doses/application in homeopathy: For bruises and the bruising, fracture, shock, dislocation, as well as bloody wounds and tooth extraction: In case of accidental shock, the immediate administration of Arnica can relieve the symptoms. Before operations and dental procedures: For prolonged therapy (for example, sprains):
- Tablets Arnica montana D3, D4, D6
- Drops of Arnica montana D3, D4, D6
- Ampoules Arnica montana D4, D6, D10, D12
- Drops of Arnica montana D6: 5 drops every half hour until the pain subsides. As soon as the pain reoccurs, 5-10 drops are given again.
- Or in the case of bruising, strains, closed fractures, but not in open wounds: Arnica essence is applied externally as an compress (one teaspoon to a cup of water). Has a pain-relieving effect and promotes the decongestant effect. – Globules or drops of Arnica montana D12.
Arnica D12 is administered twice a day, 5-8 drops 3 days before the operation. – Tablet Arnica montana D2. It is recommended to take 1 tablet of D2 3 times a day.
