Effects
The apparatus produces a sucking action that resembles the sucking of an infant.
Indications
When breastfeeding is not possible to stimulate and maintain milk production:
- Interruption in breastfeeding, for example, when the mother is ill or when mother and child are separated.
- Problems with the nipples, Brustrhagaden
- Taking medicines that are incompatible with the infant.
Application
The milk can be collected in a bottle or in a bag.
Storage of the milk
During a few hours at room temperature, during 24 h to a few days in the refrigerator or frozen in special bags for several months.
