Cervical Spine Syndrome
In a cervical syndrome, headaches occur, which originate from the area of the neck. In addition, there is severe tension and the person affected can hardly turn his or her head. There are various possible causes for this, such as vertebral blockages or inflammation. Headaches originate from the neck area, which becomes tense, for example, when working at a desk for too long. In order to counteract these headaches, it is therefore necessary to relieve tension and to build and strengthen the muscles in the neck.
Migraine
A common cause of headaches is the disorder of migraine. It is a recurrent occurrence of severe headaches, which are often pulsating and one-sided. This is also called a migraine attack.Typical for this is also the occurrence of warning signs that start to appear earlier, such as seeing flashes before the eyes.
Accompanying symptoms, such as nausea and diarrhoea, also occur frequently. Some forms of migraine are hereditary. The attack itself is often triggered by so-called triggers.
These are certain stimuli that can lead to the occurrence of the migraine attack. These include stress, lack of sleep and hormone fluctuations, but also the consumption of stimulants such as cheese or red wine.
