Environmental pollution – intoxications (poisonings).

  • Ionizing radiation and benzene are thought to play a role in etiology

Prevention factors (protective factors)

  • High versus low leisure-time physical activity is associated with a lower risk of myeloid leukemia (HR 0.80, 95% CI 0.70-0.92).
