Condurango cortex PH – Condurango bark PH: Condurango bark consists of the dried, cut bark of stems and branches of Triana ( Reichenb. fil). (PH). PH requires a minimum content of condurango glycosides.

Bitters: steroid terglycosides: condurangoglycosides, condurangin.
Effects
Stimulation of salivary and gastric juice secretion.
Indications for use
As a bittering agent (amarum), e.g., for loss of appetite
Dosage
As a cold extract, can also be heated briefly afterwards, daily dose 2-4 g.
