Contraindications

According to the latest findings, preparations containing diclofenac should also not be used if the patient has a severe heart disease or if severe vascular diseases are present. Although caution is required in the systemic use of tablets, it should not be forgotten that the same active ingredient also enters the body through the gel and thus theoretically has the same effects and side effects as the tablet active ingredient. In combination with other painkillers or heart medication, Diclofenac should also be used as a gel only after careful consideration, since sometimes combined substances hinder or intensify each other’s effects.
