Do salts help?
There are Schuessler salts, which should have a positive effect on the connective tissue. A combination of two salts is said to help with complaints such as wrinkles, cellulite, varicose veins or stretch marks to mobilise the body’s own self-healing powers with the help of the minerals. The salt No.
1 “Calcium fluratum”, calcium fluoride, has a special effect on the supporting and connective tissue. Salt No. 11 “Silicea“, silicic acid, is also described by the manufacturer as the “salt of beauty”.
It is said to promote the elasticity, firmness and tautness of the skin and to strengthen the connective tissue. The salts are available as a combination: DHU Silicea Pentarkan®. The manufacturer recommends this salt combination in the morning, noon and evening.
One tablet of DHU Silicea Pentarkan® should be dissolved in the mouth. A pack of 80 tablets is sufficient for about four weeks and corresponds to a cure to tighten the connective tissue. For more detailed information, please refer to the package insert.
Can silica help?
Silica originally described minerals that contain a lot of silicon. Today, we speak of silica as a product obtained from diatoms. Diatoms are plants that have a cell envelope that is rich in the mineral silicon.
When the algae die, the silicon-containing cell envelope decays, so to speak, into the familiar silica. Today, silica serves as a wellness product and panacea for skin, hair and nails. The idea behind it is that the body naturally contains silicon, namely in cartilage tissue, bones and connective tissue.
Our body cannot produce silicon itself, so it must be supplied to it from outside. If you ingest silica in the form of globules or food supplements, you provide the body with a substance that it can use or urgently needs in order to start building bones and, above all, connective tissue. This is why silica is a popular product for tightening the connective tissue “from the inside”. Taking silica also has a positive effect on the health of hair and nails.
Firming exercises
In order to tighten the connective tissue, you can regularly do a few exercises at home. A yoga mat on the floor is recommended as an aid for the following exercises. For the first exercise, go into the four-footed position.
The starting position is to kneel down hip-wide and place your arms shoulder-wide, with your hands supporting your upper body. One alternately raises one leg at a 90° angle and lowers it again. 10 to 20 repetitions with each leg are sufficient.
This exercise helps to tighten the bottom and the back of the thighs. The second exercise concerns the outer sides of the legs. For this you lie on one side and stretch your legs.
The lower arm is stretched out and with the other arm you can support yourself on the floor. For this exercise lift your upper leg and lower it again. The foot should point down (towards the body) as slightly as possible.
10 to 20 repetitions on each side will have a quick effect. Another exercise begins in the supine position. The legs are placed hip-wide next to each other, the arms should be placed next to the body.
Now you lift your pelvis and tense your bottom and go into the so-called “glute bridge”, where the bottom stays in the air. Then you stretch one leg up and hold it. 10 to 20 repetitions with each leg tighten the back considerably.
