Duration of navel colic
Abdominal pain in children with navel colic often lasts only a few minutes to a maximum of one hour. If it lasts longer, the cause is more likely to be different and a doctor should be consulted. The period in which the symptoms occur usually extends from kindergarten or primary school age to the beginning of puberty.
