- Rhinoscopy (nasal endoscopy).

- Sonography (ultrasound examination) of the paranasal sinuses – if sinusitis (sinusitis) is suspected.
- Computed tomography of the paranasal sinuses (NNH-CT; sectional imaging procedure (X-ray images from different directions with computer-based evaluation)) – if sinusitis is suspected.
- Rhinomanometry (measurement of nasal flow/air flow through the nose).
