Home remedy against conjunctivitis

Conjunctivitis, also known as conjunctivitis, is a disease of the eye that can occur in adults and especially in children. It can be caused by various pathogens, mostly viruses or bacteria, as well as allergies. This causes the typical symptoms with reddening of the eyes, itching and sensitivity to light.

Frequently, those affected also have the feeling that there is a foreign body in the eye. To prevent the spread of the disease, hygiene and e.g. changing towels regularly plays a decisive role. It should also be avoided to touch the eyes with your own fingers, as the germs can spread very quickly. The symptoms of conjunctivitis can often be alleviated with household remedies.
