Homeopathic medicines
In the second phase of dermatitis the following homeopathic medicines are used:
- Apis (honey bee)
- Rhus toxicodendron (poison ivy)
- Cantharis (Spanish fly)
Apis (honey bee)
Typical dosage of Apis (honey bee) for skin inflammation: Tablets D6
- The swelling increases, the skin is light red
- The pain is burning and stinging, accompanied by great heat (like after a bee sting) and very sensitive to touch
- General feeling of exhaustion
- Heat is not tolerated
- Better through cold and fresh air
Rhus toxicodendron (poison ivy)
Typical dosage of Rhus toxicodendron (poison ivy) for skin inflammation: drops of D4
- After the first phase of redness and swelling, the skin begins to form blisters of varying sizes.
- The vesicles often turn into suppurations at the tip
- Severe pain, burning and itching
- Often these rashes are very persistent and return again and again
- Everything is aggravated by wetness and cold and in the quiet
- Improvement through movement
- Very restless patients.
Cantharis (Spanish fly)
Prescription only up to and including D3! Typical dosage of Cantharis (Spanish fly) for dermatitis: Tablets D6
- Large bubbles with little reddening of the surroundings are formed throughout
- Characteristic for the remedy are the strong burning pains
