How do annual special payments affect the parental allowance?
Annual special payments such as bonuses, premiums, Christmas and vacation pay are taken into account for the calculation of the parental allowance. Since the parental allowance is based on the average net income of the last twelve months in gainful employment, annual special payments can have a positive effect on the parental allowance and lead to a higher monthly parental allowance.
