- Recurrence of hyperprolactinemia
Genitourinary system (kidneys, urinary tract – reproductive organs) (N00-N99).
- Gynecomastia – enlargement of the mammary gland in men.
- Loss of libido (man)
- Sterility (woman and man)

- Recurrence of prolactinoma – in macroprolactinomas, the recurrence rate is > 50%.
Genitourinary system (kidneys, urinary tract – sex organs) (N00-N99).
- Gynecomastia – enlargement of the mammary gland in men.
- Loss of libido (man)
- Sterility (woman and man)
Prognostic factors
- Gravidity (pregnancy): physiologically, during pregnancy, there is an increase in the size of the pituitary gland (hypophysis), so the risks for irreversible visual loss (sudden loss of vision) increase.
