Intake during pregnancy and lactation
There are not enough studies on the use of Orlistat in pregnancy and lactation, so its use during these periods is not currently recommended. Also, the use of products such as Formoline is not recommended during pregnancy and lactation.
Effectiveness of the pill when taking fat blockers
In principle, the fat-blocker Orlistat has no effect on the effectiveness of the pill. However, diarrhea and vomiting may occur as a side effect of Orlistat. In this situation the effectiveness of the pill is no longer guaranteed and an alternative method of contraception should be used. When taking Formoline, there should be an interval of 4 hours between the pill and the intake of the pill, otherwise the effectiveness of the pill is not guaranteed.
