Mycosis Fungoides: Diagnostic Tests

Obligatory medical device diagnostics.

  • due toExtracutaneous (“outside the skin”) manifestation of mycosis fungoides:
    • Abdominal sonography (ultrasound examination of the abdominal organs).
    • Computed tomography (CT) of the abdomen (abdominal CT)/pelvis (pelvic CT) – in advanced stages, whole-body CT.
    • Magnetic resonance imaging of the abdomen (abdominal MRI)/pelvis (pelvic MRI).
    • X-ray of the thorax (X-ray thorax/chest), in two planes.
    • Sonography (ultrasound) of the lymph nodes.
