Peripheral Ligament and Muscle Attachment Disorders: Lower Extremity: History

Medical history–history–represents an important component in the diagnosis of enthesopathies–inflammatory disorders of the tendons, tendon attachments to bone, bursae, and joint capsules–of the lower extremities.

  • What is your profession?

Current medical history/systemic history (somatic and psychological complaints).

  • Are you experiencing pain? If yes, when does the pain occur? How long has the pain been present?
  • Where is the pain localized?
  • Do you have any pain-related functional limitation of the affected joints?
  • Is the pain activity-dependent?
  • Was there a precipitating event? Accident? Fall?

Vegetative anamnesis incl. nutritional anamnesis.

  • Do you do sports regularly? If so, what sports do you prefer?

Self history incl. medication history

  • Pre-existing conditions (diseases of the musculoskeletal system).

  • Allergies
