The following symptoms and complaints may indicate rapid (rapidly) progressive glomerulonephritis:
Leading symptoms
- Macrohematuria (microscopic visible blood in the urine).
- Proteinuria (increased excretion of protein in the urine).
- Oliguria (< 500 ml of urine / day).
- Hemoptysis (coughing up blood)
- Arthralgia (joint pain)
- Myalgia (muscle pain)
- Skin lesions
- Fever
Symptoms of rapidly progressive glomerulonephritis can be very nonspecific and result in a severe feeling of illness.
