Neurodermatitis is a chronic disease. However, spontaneous healings are possible at any time. About 60% of the people who suffered from neurodermatitis in childhood show hardly any or no symptoms after early adulthood.
Other people, unfortunately, repeatedly suffer from atopic dermatitis attacks. Nevertheless, it is true that the severity of the relapses is usually much more pronounced in childhood than in adulthood.
