The anamnesis (medical history) represents an important component in the diagnosis of root resorption, in addition to the findings.

  • Have you had any previous complaints?
  • Are you in pain?
  • Do your teeth show pain reactions to hot, cold, sweet or sour stimuli ?
  • Do you have bite pain ?
  • Do you feel teeth loosening?
  • Have you noticed any gum changes?

Self history including medication history.
