Skin bleaching in the intimate area

Since the skin in the anal region and on the labia naturally has a somewhat stronger pigmentation and appears darker, some people feel the need to lighten these skin areas by bleaching.Special caution is required here! The skin in the genital area is partly made up of sensitive mucous membrane. In addition, there are many nerves and muscles close under the skin, which control the sensation of pleasure and are also necessary for urine and stool control.

It cannot be recommended to anyone to experiment in this sensitive area with products containing corrosive acids and bases! There is an approved cream that can be prescribed by dermatologists to bleach the skin. If you are not at all comfortable with the darker skin in the intimate area, you should definitely consult a dermatologist for professional help.

Analbleaching

By nature, the intimate area of many people has a slightly darker pigmentation than the rest of the skin. Especially in the USA there is the possibility of so-called “anal bleaching”. In this procedure, the skin in these areas, i.e. the anal and genital areas, is adjusted to the color of the surrounding skin by bleaching substances.

The substances used here are keratolytic agents such as rutinol or ascorbic acid. They are used in the form of creams and lotions. The effect is based on the fact that the so-called tyrosinase is blocked.

This is an enzyme responsible for skin pigmentation. As long as it is blocked, the skin remains light. After the creams are discontinued, the effect diminishes after a few days and the skin becomes darker again.

In the USA, hydroquinones are also used to lighten the skin. A health-damaging effect of these is being discussed, but they are tolerated in use. In the beginning, anal bleaching was used more in the erotic industry, but has now established itself in other target groups as well.

However, this practice takes place predominantly in the USA. Those who experiment with different methods of bleaching the skin themselves must expect that the mostly aggressive substances injure the skin. Wherever skin is injured, scars can develop during the healing process. Unfortunately, once scars have developed, it is difficult to treat them with therapy. Therefore, it is very important to seek professional help from a dermatologist if you want to lighten your skin.
