What exercises for early intervention are there?

There are various exercises in early childhood development that are designed to help children develop. Curative education exercises can be rhythmic and musical exercises, psychomotor exercises or, for example, perception and sensory exercises. For example, in one hour of psychomotor activity, basic functions of the children can be promoted such as running, balancing, climbing or sliding.

The sense of balance can be improved by jumping on the trampoline. The children develop control of their balance and strengthen their muscles. An exercise for speech development and body awareness is the game “A little snail”.

Here the child lies on its stomach and the caregiver recites the poem and guides the hand carefully “like a snail” over the child’s back. In addition, there are many language games such as “Beim Müller hat’s brennet” or “Regen”, which help the child to train its speech rhythm. Depending on the child’s impairment, there are different ways to train the child’s deficits in a playful way.
