- Electrocardiogram (ECG; recording of the electrical activity of the heart muscle) – for basic diagnostics.
- Computed tomography (CT) of the abdomen (abdominal CT)/thorax/chest (thoracic CT) – for suspected tumor disease.
- Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the abdomen (abdominal MRI) – if tumor disease is suspected.
- Urography or X-ray blank abdomen.
- Urethrocystoscopy (urethral and bladder endoscopy).
