  • Bursitis calcarea (calcified shoulder) – calcifications in the shoulder area.
  • Chronic polyarthritis (rheumatoid arthritis).
  • Gout (arthritis urica/uric acid-related joint inflammation or tophic gout)/hyperuricemia (elevation of uric acid levels in the blood).
  • Rheumatoid nodules (noduli rheumatici), subcutaneous (located under the skin), rough, shifting nodules); develop in 20 to 30 percent of patients with rheumatoid arthritis
  • Bursa abscess – encapsulated collection of pus.
  • Bursa cyst – encapsulated fluid-filled cavity.
