Cabbage juice causes faster healing of stomach ulcers.

The active ingredients have a beneficial effect on the mucous membranes in the stomach and intestines. The juice should always be raw and the cure should last about 3 to 4 weeks. The cabbage is used externally for wounds that do not want to heal, such as stubborn lower leg ulcers.

Take the inner and fresh leaves, remove the stalk, wash with lukewarm water and roll the leaves softly with a rolling pin. Place these leaves on the wounds and fasten them loosely with a gauze bandage. The bandage is changed twice a day and the wound is rinsed with lukewarm chamomile tea.

Also nail bed inflammations (circulation) can be influenced positively with it. From the fresh cabbage leaves, a concentrated juice is extracted by squeezing or in a juicer. You can drink one liter of this juice throughout the day.

If the cabbage juice causes flatulence, caraway tea can help. Take 1 teaspoon of caraway, pound it in a mortar, pour a large cup of boiling water over it, cover and let it steep for 5 minutes. Drink one cup unsweetened three times a day.

Sometimes flatulence can occur after drinking cabbage juice. These can be treated well with caraway tea.
