Costs
Before the patient decides to undergo anti-wrinkle injections, he should be aware that this is a purely plastic, aesthetic treatment. In principle, such measures are not covered by either statutory or private health insurance companies. The patient has to bear all costs arising independently.
In addition, the patient must also pay for all follow-up costs. This means that if complications occur after the treatment that make further measures necessary, all costs incurred must be paid by the patient himself/herself.The regular insurance coverage does not apply in such cases and the insurance companies are in no way forced to cover the treatment costs. Many German insurance companies have long been offering special rates for planned plastic, aesthetic treatment measures.
A complete insurance coverage, which covers all possible follow-up costs, can be booked for about 80 Euro. The costs for an anti-wrinkle injection depend primarily on the extent of the desired measures. The choice of the injection material is also clearly reflected in the cost calculation.
Low degrees of flaccidity and loss of elasticity, i.e. small wrinkles, can be filled relatively cheaply. Within Germany, the costs for an injection of wrinkles amount to approximately 1500-4000 Euros.
