- Computed tomography (CT; sectional imaging procedure (X-ray images taken from different directions with computer-based evaluation)) – for suspected CNS involvement such as meningitis (meningitis).
- Electrocardiogram (ECG; recording of the electrical activity of the heart muscle) – when myocardial involvement (heart involvement) is suspected.
- Echocardiography (echo; heart ultrasound) – if myo-/pericarditis (inflammation of the heart muscle/pericardium) is suspected.
