2nd order laboratory parameters – depending on the results of the history, physical examination and obligatory laboratory parameters – for differential diagnostic clarification.
- Small blood count
- CRP (C-reactive protein) or ESR (erythrocyte sedimentation rate).
- Highly sensitive cardiac troponin T (hs-cTnT) or troponin I (hs-cTnI) – for suspected angina pectoris (“chest tightness”; sudden pain in the heart area) or myocardial infarction (heart attack).
