Homeopathy for gout

Many different homeopathic remedies can be used for gout fingers. The homeopathic remedy Apis mellifica is especially recommended for acute attacks of gout and has a soothing effect on overheating, swelling and pain. It is recommended in potency D12 for use with five globules up to three times a day.

Belladonna is a homeopathic remedy that is particularly effective in cases of severe pain and overheated joints, as it dampens the inflammatory processes. Its use is recommended only for a few days in cases of severe pain. For this purpose, potency D12 can be used, whereby five globules can be taken up to three times a day. Diet for gout

Diet plays a major role in gout and can therefore also help to alleviate the symptoms of gout fingers. Since the subject of nutrition and gout is mainly about the purine content of the food, some foods rich in purines should be avoided. These include various types of meat and offal.

Fish, sardines and especially sprats also contain a high percentage of purines. Mettwurst is one of the few meat and sausage varieties that have a relatively low purine content in comparison. We have a separate article on this topic, “Nutrition with gout”.
