Homeopathic medicines
The following homeopathic remedies are suitable for sinusitis (fadenziehendes Sekret):
- Hydrastis (turmeric)
- Potassium bicronicum
Prescription only up to and including D3! Especially drops D6 are used.
- Following an acute runny nose, the secretion becomes thready, thick and yellowish
- The mucus drains backwards into the throat, often becomes bloodstained
- Mentally and physically exhausted people who are emaciated
- All complaints worse at night, better outdoors
- Dry, cold wind is badly tolerated
Tablets D6 in particular are used.
- Acute rhinitis with dryness, constipation and pressure at the root of the nose quickly progresses to the next stage with jelly-like, tough, adherent mucus
- Crusts and bark in the nose are difficult to remove
- Pain in the forehead and cheekbones limited to narrowly defined areas
- Worse by cold and pressure
- Pain comes and goes suddenly and is improved by heat (steam baths! )
