Homeopathy for vaccination

Introduction

A vaccination can be a burden on the body. Nevertheless, through consistent vaccination in recent decades, some diseases have been eradicated (e.g. smallpox) and many others (e.g. poliomyelitis, measles) have become significantly less common since vaccination.

Recently, despite all this, the distrust of vaccinations has been increasing. However, those who are well informed will find that there are many good reasons to vaccinate. Because without the comprehensive vaccination, diseases would never have been eradicated. Especially immunocompromised people or infants benefit from the eradication of various diseases. In order to carry out this epidemiologically extremely important measure on oneself or one’s children, certain homeopathic substances can be used which support the body in defending itself against side effects and thus possibly make the vaccination more tolerable.

Which active ingredients are used?

To support the organism during a vaccination, various homeopathic agents can be used. The best known and oldest is probably the Thuja (see below), which in principle can be used with every vaccination. Malandrinum can also help with side effects of all vaccinations.

In addition, there are other active ingredients that can make a vaccination better tolerated – their selection and administration should depend on the undesirable symptoms resulting from the vaccination. These active ingredients include: In general, a consultation with an alternative practitioner or homeopath should be carried out before administering any of the active ingredients mentioned. If the side effects of the vaccination go beyond the usual symptoms (e.g. fever up to 39°C rectally, redness and swelling of the injection site, headache and aching limbs, tiredness or swelling of the lymph nodes up to about 5 days after vaccination), the family doctor should also be consulted.
