How strong is an ovulation bleeding?

Compared to menstrual bleeding, however, it is very much weaker and rarely leads to vaginal discharge or vaginal bleeding. It is often helpful to enter the days of your menstrual period in a calendar and thereby determine the length of your cycle. It is defined by the number of days from the first day of the last menstruation to the following one.
In exactly the middle of this period is ovulation.It is therefore very easy to determine with the help of a calendar whether it could be an ovulation bleeding. The color of an ovulation bleeding cannot be indicated exactly. Every fresh bleeding – as well as the bleeding from the ovary through ovulation – is first marked by red blood.
As soon as the blood coagulates, it takes on a reddish-brownish color. Depending on how old the bleeding is, it changes its color. However, it is definitely a mistake to think that the color of the bleeding can be used to distinguish an ovulatory bleed from a normal menstrual bleed. Any blood that flows down the uterus coagulates and can take on a red to brown color.
Duration
An ovulation usually does not last longer than one day. This is due to the fact that it is only a small tear in the ovary caused by the cracked egg. The small tear is quickly closed by coagulated blood and repaired by inflammatory cells. Normally, this process is not even noticed by women. However, if bleeding does occur, it will manifest itself as slightly discolored vaginal secretion.
