Immunodeficiency: Diagnostic Tests

Obligatory medical device diagnostics.

Optional medical device diagnostics – depending on the results of the history, physical examination and mandatory laboratory parameters – for differential diagnostic clarification.

  • Electrical impedance analysis (measurement of body compartments/body composition) – for determination of body fat, extracellular body mass (blood and tissue fluid), body cell mass (muscle and organ mass), and total body water including body mass index (BMI, body mass index) and waist-to-hip ratio (THV).
  • Computed tomography (CT) of the abdomen (abdominal CT) – if pathological (pathological) changes in the abdominal organs are suspected.
  • Magnetic resonance imaging (abdominal MRI) – when pathological (pathological) changes in the abdominal organs are suspected.
