Obligatory medical device diagnostics.
- Abdominal ultrasonography (ultrasound examination of abdominal organs)-as a standard diagnostic test in cases of unclear immunodeficiency (immune deficiency).
- Electrocardiogram (ECG; recording of the electrical activity of the heart muscle) – as a standard diagnostic tool in cases of unclear immunodeficiency.
- X-ray of the chest (X-ray thorax/chest), in two planes – in the case of unclear immunodeficiency.
Optional medical device diagnostics – depending on the results of the history, physical examination and mandatory laboratory parameters – for differential diagnostic clarification.
- Electrical impedance analysis (measurement of body compartments/body composition) – for determination of body fat, extracellular body mass (blood and tissue fluid), body cell mass (muscle and organ mass), and total body water including body mass index (BMI, body mass index) and waist-to-hip ratio (THV).
- Computed tomography (CT) of the abdomen (abdominal CT) – if pathological (pathological) changes in the abdominal organs are suspected.
- Magnetic resonance imaging (abdominal MRI) – when pathological (pathological) changes in the abdominal organs are suspected.
