Social history
Current medical history/systemic history (somatic and psychological complaints).
- Are you experiencing ear pain, hearing loss, and/or fever?
- Have you been vomiting?
- Have you noticed any swelling behind the auricle?
Vegetative anamnesis including nutritional anamnesis.
- Do you smoke? If yes, how many cigarettes, cigars or pipes per day?
- Are you a passive smoker?
Self history including medication history.
- Pre-existing conditions (upper respiratory tract infections, immunodeficiencies; reflux disease/heartburn).
