Kidney and bladder dragées are commercially available as coated tablets or film-coated tablets from various suppliers (e.g., Phytopharma, Hänseler).

Ingredients

Kidney and bladder dragées contain extracts from various medicinal drugs. These include, for example, birch leaves, horsetail herb, goldenrod herb, bearberry leaves, orthosiphon leaves, and hawthorn root.

Effects

Diuretic, anti-inflammatory, disinfectant, antimicrobial and antispasmodic properties are attributed to the drugs.

Indications for use

Kidney and bladder dragées are usually taken to treat inflammation of the bladder.

Dosage

According to the package insert. The dragées are usually taken three times a day. In the course of treatment should take enough liquid!

Contraindications

The remedies are contraindicated in case of hypersensitivity, stomach disorders, in children under 12 years of age and during pregnancy. If there is no improvement, the patient should seek medical treatment. Full precautions can be found in the package insert.

Adverse effects

Possible adverse effects include indigestion.
