Morning vomiting

If children have to vomit in the morning on an empty stomach, this is often caused by a serious illness. A doctor should then be consulted immediately. This may be due to excessive intracranial pressure, which must be treated.

However, it can also just be a case of hypersensitivity in the morning to odors, which in combination with an empty stomach can lead to vomiting. This can be easily compensated by giving the children a juice or a piece of food in the morning. It can also be caused by excessive stress.

Vomiting and fever in children

Nausea, vomiting and diarrhea combined with fever is in most cases an indication of gastro-enteritis. They are very common in children, especially if they are already at school or kindergarten, because these diseases are highly contagious, it usually moves from child to child. But food poisoning can also trigger similar symptoms. Especially when the fever becomes too high or when it is very small children or babies, it is always necessary to consult a pediatrician who can finally make the right diagnosis.
